How can we challenge gender stereotypes that may prevent women from seeking help for depression?
In light of entrenched gender stereotypes that portray women as inherently more emotional, resilient, or capable of managing their mental health independently, how can we actively challenge and dismantle these harmful narratives to create a more inclusive and supportive environment that empowers women to acknowledge their struggles with depression, prioritize their mental well-being, and seek help without fear of judgment or stigma, while advocating for gender-sensitive approaches to mental health care that recognize and address the diverse needs and experiences of women across the spectrum of depression and related challenges?
